Saturday 25 August Official arrival of international ploughmen, supervisors, WPO Board, international guests and delegations (10 day package)
Sunday 26 August

Kick-off excursion with ploughman’s service in Hechingen collegiate church

Tour of Hohenzollern Castle

Official welcome of guests to the main and state studs of Marbach with stallion’s parade, tour of the premises, social evening with barbecue, etc.

Monday 27 August

Practice ploughing for ploughmen/supervisors at Einsiedel estate

Excursion for international guests: “Oberschwaben/Lake Constance tour” with farm visits, boat trip on Lake Constance in the three-border region, etc.

Tuesday 28 August

Practice ploughing for ploughmen/supervisors at Einsiedel estate

Excursion for international guests:

  • "Wine tour” of the Herzog von Württemberg vineyard at Monrepos
  • Agricultural trade visits
  • Flourishing baroque Ludwigsburg Castle
 
Wednesday 29 August

Practice ploughing for ploughmen/supervisors at Einsiedel estate

Programme for international guests:

  • Morning: Trip to Mercedes-Benz Museum Stuttgart
  • Afternoon: Two excursions to choose from
    • Farm visit to Tübingen/Schwäbische Alb biosphere
    • Alternatively: Visit to Outletcity Metzingen
  • Evening: International evening get-together “From farmer to farmer”
 
Thursday 30 August

Arrival of international guests and delegations (5-day package)

Practice ploughing for ploughmen/supervisors at Einsiedel estate

Excursion for international guests:

  • “South-west tour”: Oberkirch/Strasbourg (France), Farm visits
  • At the same time at Einsiedel estate: “Lemken Day”
 
Friday 31 August

Practice ploughing for ploughmen/supervisors at Einsiedel estate

Excursion for international guests:

  • Tour of the university town of Tübingen
Afternoon/evening: official opening ceremony with flag-raising ceremony, unveiling of memorial, gala evening

At the same time on the general programme: Hohenheim Uni Field Day, Steam Ploughing, National Heats Horse Ploughing, numerous other demonstrations: (e.g. precision farming, etc.), regional specialities/farmers’ market Vintage tractor parade, maize maze, children’s programme and much, much more

Numerous culinary hospitality options in field barn

Evening programme with stage show and night glow

Sunday 2 September

International competition in grass ploughing

General programme (see Saturday 1 September); jazz breakfast

Around 4pm Official close, collection of flags

From 7pm/7.30pm Gala evening with winner awards
